Christmas on New Years

Since we all couldn't get together during Christmas, the kids decided to celebrat e on New Years day instead. With all the bad weather in both Seattle and Northern Idaho, it was quite a feat. I was the only one who didn't need to travel in lousy conditions. My contribution was to have the road and driveway clear of snow. We all had a great time. Saray stole the show of course. Christmas is so much better when there are little ones around. Christine came for the week with her friends Mark and Melissa to get some skiing in. The kids all went out for New Years Eve in Coeur d'Alene while I got to have Saray over for the night.

Coeur d'Alene has this great sledding hill behind one of their fire stations. So one day we decided to give it a try.

I gave it a try head first but lost my hat!
Saray is covering her face.

And this is why. She really didn't like this run. Cried at the bottom and wouldn't go again for a while.

Eric, Maurine and I went for a drive one evening and caught this shot.
