I've never been to The Grand Canyon and really wanted to see it.

Remember how I mentioned that I was in snow for most of the trip down from Idaho. Well, half way to The Grand Canyon I was in snow again. This is Arizona for crying out loud. What's with all the snow!! There was snow on the South Rim. Several groups were out cross-country skiing. Wouldn't you know, just before I left on this trip I actually had my cross country skis in my hands to take along, but decided I'd never use them as I was going to Arizona.... The rangers suggested not going hiking unless you had “Yak Traks”, like tire chains for shoes, which I own a pair, that are in Idaho... And the night I was there, the temperature dropped to 11 degrees. My poor little furnace in the motor home practically ran constantly. I need HEAT!
But all-in-all, I'm glad I went. The canyon is something else. Conditions were not too good for photography, but I think I got a couple of good shots anyway.
