Cape Sabastian

Thanks to Geocaching, I came across this great trail on Cape Sabastian the last time I was in the area. Off the main trail is a short side trail that leads to this interesting area where the waves have eroded the rock into some unique formations. I was looking forward to taking Gary and Martha there. All three of us went nuts taking pictures, well, I went nuts, they went just a little crazy.

This little knob is only about two inches high and just sticks up out of the surrounding sandstone

This is actually a little tide pool, about 18 inches across, eroded into the sandstone.

Some of the erosion on one of the more vertical cliffs.

More cliff erosion

Gary wondering if I'm ever going to stop taking pictures. It's hard not to take pictures when the scenery is like this.
