This is unbelievable! My first real snowfall at Rose Lake, and it sets records. It started snowing yesterday morning and has snowed continuously since, about an inch per hour. We're at two feet and rising. I love it!! And WOW, has it been cold. Single digits for the past week. This has been the highest snowfall for 24hours on record. The local news stations have canceled all the shows and only have been covering the storm. Nothing is coming and going at the airport. No schools are open, not even the malls. And it's just a few days before Christmas.
Am I ever glad that I purchase the ATV and got a plow for it. My neighbor and I have been having quite the time plowing the road to our places and the driveways. We have to do it about every 6 hours or so. I'm finally getting the hang of it. At first I noticed that he went over what I did. Tonight he just let me do it. Maybe it's just because he broke his plow.
When I'm not playing in the snow, I've been setting up my amateur radio station. I redid the desk so it is smaller and fits the allotted location. It only took me about 8 months to unpack things and get the radio set up.
