It's Cold Out There

While talking to Teresa on the phone today and doing my normal talking on the phone pacing, I noticed that there were people walking on the lake. This is a new experience for me. We don't walk on frozen lakes where I come from, unless your willing to get a good dunking. They just seemed to be milling around. So as soon as I got off the phone, I got the telescope to take a closer look. They had a sled and one person seemed to be sitting. Do you ever listen to A Prairie Home Companion when Keiler talks about how all the men go out onto Lake Woebegone in the winter. That's right, they were ice fishing. But this is Idaho! Granted “Northern Idaho”, but not Wisconsin, and it isn't even officially winter yet! It's Weird! Maybe I'll try to cross country ski on it. That sounds like fun.

And while we are on the subject of phones. We were, weren't we? I don't think I'll ever get used to this medicine induced forgetfulness. Or maybe I'm just getting older, which is the benefit of the medicine, so I really shouldn't complain. Anyway, I found my lost Bluetooth headset, in the dryer. It still worked, sort of. That is rather amazing actually. Washed and dried and kept on ticking, like a Timex watch. Its not as loud as it used to be, and since it wasn't loud to begin with, I'm going to replace it. Let's see, that is the third one I've managed to destroy. I wonder if that has anything to do with my medicines?

Taken yesterday, there is at least 6 inches more today
