Here is where we camped outside of Fruita Colorado. It is another mountain bicycle meca. About a mile up the road from where we camped is an established campground full of mountain bikers.
It was so great to be able to meet up with my two daughters and their families. I was surprised at what an emotional reunion it was. The adults were all vaccinated. We cried when we actually hugged each other for the first time in over 15 months.
This was a great spot, especially for the Littles. They rode their bikes round and round the turn around at our campsite. This is 3 year old Caanann. He and 4 year old Mila both are good little bicyclists.
And the best was being able to be indoors with the grandkids. I was outside when I heard lots of children laughter coming from the trailer. Upon investigation, I found Mona teaching the kids silly campsongs. They, and Mona, where having blast.
This lady is Awesome!
We, that's about it. Five months being "Snowbirds". That's a record for us. From there, we headed home with an overnight stop at the Salt Lake City Cabela's, our usual overnight spot, and then at the city park in Drummond, MT. We got home in time to spend Easter with my eldest daughter and her family, AND, we were INDOORS.
