Valdez

I did make it down to Valdez. It must be in a beautiful setting, but I couldn't see much as it was pretty foggy and cloudy the time I was there.

The road there is pretty spectacular. Right before you get to the town, the road goes down this very narrow canyon. This waterfall is of course call "Bridal Veil Falls".

Across the bay from my campsite is Valdez, over there, somewhere.....

And next to my campsite was the entrance to the oil terminal. I guess they would rather not have you visit.

On the way to Anchorage along the highway you pass the Mataluska Glacier.

Next stop, Anchorage to pick up Christine. She's flying in to spend a week with me in Denali National Park
