Halloween Etc.

Dang@#$%^ I've been clearing some of the small trees and brush downhill from the house, both to improve the view and to reduce the fire danger. I'm stacking some of the smaller trunks this morning when one, about the size of an 8 foot 2x4, bounces back at me as I threw it on the pile. I knocked me right above the ankle on the left foot. Not bad, except I'm taking Plavix, so I bruise and bleed easily. Wouldn't you know it, there's now a bump on my leg about the size of a baseball! NUTS! It now elevated with ice on it. Michele would be proud.

So now what do I do?

I know, I'll blog. Lucky You!

The whole family in N. Idaho all went to a pumpkin patch north of Spokane. It's quite an attraction. There are several farms in the area and they seem to be trying to outdo one another. The one we stopped at had rides, music,a castle, air slides, corn mazes, treats, etc.

Teresa and John trying to find the perfect pumkin.

Saray found the best one.

I did not buy this for her! Her mother did.

There's the Goode Family at the top of the castle.

If you cheated on doing the corn maze, you got thrown in jail

Saray espcially enjoyed the slide

Let the pumpkin carving begin

On Halloween I went with Stan, Michele and Saray to their friends, Mark and Jesse's house.

Michele had to work during the day, so Saray and Stan had to paint each others faces. Did you notice that mother and daughter have matching shirts.

There were a lot of cute kids out Trick or Treating, This one was the cutest!

Doing what all dogs do when they come to a hydrant.

OK.....the blogs done......now what do I do.....

Man, you're a great man! I love all you do with our family and how you document it for us out-of-towners because frankly, Michele sucks at that part. Saray is the best lookin' little doggy I've ever seen! You are such a good grandpa. We are unfortunately severely lacking in the grandpa department and you are top notch. We love you.

And your comment on my blog made me cry. I miss her and I LOVE you!
