Retail Therapy

I learned something today. Actually yesterday but I'm just now getting around to confessing it. I learned that when one is in a diminished mental and/or physical state due to illness or whatever, one should not go into a candy store (i.e. any store with something one might covet).

One the way to the bank in Coeur d'Alene I decided to stop by this little kayak store a few blocks from Stan and Michele's. I've been thinking about getting a larger kayak and wanted to get some ideas as to what might be available, pricing, etc. My present kayak is very small and was used to explore bays from our sailboat. It is really small and light so it would fit on the deck. But it is so small that it can't carry anything, other than me. And since I don't have the sailboat anymore, I thought something a little larger, but still light enough that I could manage getting it on and off the car by myself, might be more enjoyable.

So I left the little kayak store with a new kayak on the top of my car. I have no will power!

Isn't she cute!! Pretty good therapy.
